Kim Whisler is the Owner and founder of The Number’s Crunch, LLC., She holds the distinguished designation of Enrolled Agent and has been a full charge bookkeeper for 30 years. Kim began her business career working for one of the Big Three Accounting firms in Sacramento. While employed there she was able to refine her skills in full charge bookkeeping, payroll processing, and tax preparation assistance. Yearning for flexibility she left public accounting and entered private industry taking on the role of Chief Financial Officer for a low voltage cable company. After ten years with them Kim longed for the challenges and rewards that come with personal one on one client relationships. Spurred by this desire and the rewards of owning her own firm, Kim established Whisler Bookkeeping and Tax Services. In order to better assist you, Kim resolved to obtain her CTEC registration, crushed this goal and then reached even further to acquire the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service by passing the three-part comprehensive IRS test and earning the Enrolled Agent designation. In recent years Kim is having a blast mentoring the next generation of team members. When Kim isn’t busy nurturing the next wave of Tax preparers and Bookkeepers, providing priceless consultation services, or fulfilling your tax desires, she delights in camping with her family, and painting furniture and charming signs.
Joanne joined our team in 2008 assisting Kim with many bookkeeping clients. In 2010 Whisler Bookkeeping and Tax moved into our current office with Kim and Joanne running the show. Joanne is a bookkeeper for the firm and previously held down the fort as the office manager for four years. Joanne has twelve years of bookkeeping experience. She attended college courses at both American River College and Sierra College in the past.
